About me

Seven billion people are on this Earth, and everyone one is different from the rest of others. The thinking of everyone is unique. I am Lal Nei Hnem. I live in Jalan Sungai Besi. I am a simple 18 years old girl. I am living with my family. I've been in Malaysia for over 10 years now. I'm studying in Ideas Academy. I'm in Year 11 and this is my final year.

My family

There are six members in our family. Our eldest sister has gone to America and the five of us remind here in Malaysia. Her name is Hnem Boih and she's a married woman. I am the second eldest among four siblings. My brother, who is just below me, is Mesak and he's 16 years old. Our younger sibling whose name is Esther is just 7 years old and is studying in a primary school. Both my parents are working. My mom works as a cleaner and my dad works in a CCTV company.

My dream

When people ask me what I wanted to become or my ambition, my mind draws a blank. I don't know what I wanted to become. When I was young, I wanted to be a school teacher. However, as I grow up, my dream keeps on changing. I believe that I'm in the process of finding what I really wanted to do. For now, I want to be a web-developer. My interest in web-development grows when a coding class was held for three days in our school and I attended it. I don't regret in attending it at all. I do hope that in the future, I would become a web developer. I have always been interested in ICT and with the knowledge I have now, I want to improve my knowledge and my skills in this sector.

My school life

As I mention earlier, I've been in Malaysia for over 10 years and I've changed school three times here. The first school that I went is called M.E.C which stands for Myanmar Education Centre. It's a primary school for Burmese people. They provided us four subjects : English, Maths, Science and Chin. After that on 2014, I changed my school to Dignity for Children Foundation. I only attended that school for a year and I was in Form 1. After that I repeated Form 1 again at M.E.C and then finally I changed to Ideas Academy.

Ideas Academy teaches us based on IGCSE syllabus. It enables us to sit for IGCSE exams - I'm currently having an exam. The teachers are very caring and friendly. They're all professional teachers.
